Cast candles in the shape of the branching forms, built to collapse as they burn.

Notes

Every other piece in this body of work is about keeping the record of how it was made. This one is about the record ending.

The candle is cast from the same branch forms, so it arrives as a hard object with the same surface and the same refusals. Lighting it is not using it, it is the last stage of making it, and the shape it collapses into is not designed.
